We've all heard the expression "a stitch in time saves nine," but in the heat of the moment, it frequently occurs to us a moment too late.

"...if only I'd noticed the background light wasn't triggering..."
"...if only grandma had kept those negatives/prints in a safe place..."
"...if only I'd insisted on a more recent picture of the model..."
"...if only I'd stuck to my diet before the shoot..."
"...if only we'd started assembling the CD package earlier; now the European label needs completed artwork in a week..."
"...if only I'd had the hairdresser/makeup artist stay for the whole shoot..."
"...if only I hadn't hired a hairdresser/makeup artist off craigslist..."
"...if only I knew how to set the ISO on this new/rented/borrowed camera..."
"...if only I didn't hire a retoucher off craigslist..."
"...if only we'd steamed the wrinkles out of the dress..."
"...if only the client hadn't changed their minds about wanting a model with tattoos..."
"...if only the sky was bluer..."
"...if only I'd noticed the autofocus kept targeting her nose..."
"...if only I didn't just hate computers..."
"...if only her skin didn't have all those little bumps and pits..."
"...if only this place had marble floors...."
"...if only I'd sewn one stitch on that seam before it split any further..."

But you didn't; now you need 9 stitches. There's no "undo" command for real life, but for your images, there's me.

I see myself primarily as a retoucher - making already great images even greater, rather than a digital Mr. Fixit. Still, so much of my day-to-day work is being that last line of defense before the printer, that the thought popped into my head that I was in the business of selling 9 stitches... an impulsive late night visit to the domain registrar later, and here we are.
