Photoshop's most noble calling is restoring torn and faded memories.

Some photographs require a bit more forensic work than even Photoshop can deliver, but I don't give up so easily...

I prefer working from client-supplied scans, but I can handle scanning as well if necessary. Ideally, the best restorations come from professional scans of slides or negatives, at least 300 pixels per inch (at the desired print size). "Ideally" doesn't come up that often, so if all you've got is a flatbed scan of a torn print on textured paper, don't give up.

Also, don't hesitate to contact me with any questions about image preparation, pricing, and keeping expectations realistic.
